Well, here I am. I found sodaplay a long time ago in 2001 or so when it was just starting out. I tried to make some models, but I didn't have any talent at the time. I thought it was cool and looked at some of other peoples' models. Then some things in my life came up , and I kept this place on the back burner for awhile, and I eventually forgot about it.
A few weeks ago I found sodaplay again on StumbleUpon and thought, "Hmm...I remember this. I wonder if I'm good at it now." And miraculously, I was. Probably because of a year of Geometry and another of Algebra II at school
Yeah, so I'm one of those 'trip over my own feet' guys, tall, lanky, nerdy, etc, etc.
And sorry if this is spam, I read the rules. I couldn't find an introduction topic. I don't wanna go through 179 pages.
Yeah, so, I have a question to ask...
Is sodaconstructor local and the sodaconstructor beta applet still under development? Because I really like the idea of saving models to a computer (I got like 20 on my jump drive). Also, I would like to see creations utilizing fixed bar springs in the zoo. Finally, there are a lot of weird bugs that I would like squashed. Like if you hit import model and then hit cancel, it says this:
the import generated an error: java.lang.NullPointerEcception
Yes, the old development topic dried up in '04 or 05 or something. And while I'm at it, why hasn't the news page been updated since 2002? Seems like there's plenty of news...
Yeah, I guess that's it. Goodbye, everyone.
