Ok so iv'e noticed that the Community discussion forums have been a little sloppy lately so there are some common sense ideas i would like to post.
1. DO NOT bring back threads that have not been posted on in as little as 2 weeks.
2. DO NOT make your own topic that is almost the same as another topic that is recently posted on. Some topics should/can be remade. Like lets take for instance, 5 word story thread. It's in the 10 threads on the community discussion screen right now. But that means there should be no "jr 5 word story" "new new new 5 word story, or any related thread when there is already one up in the 10 threads page(some people may have it at 20 or 50)
Exception: Lets say the 5 word story thread hasn't been posted on in 1 month. I belive at that time it is OK to make another one, of course if it is mandatory that you do so,
3. LET THE SPAM TOPICS DIE A lot of time, spammers will make a "Spam Thread" with no point or meaning. Don't spend your time posting in them and saying "this is reallly off topic you should get a life". Just set the topic aside, and then you wont have to worry about it.
4. DON'T POST OR REPLY TO AD'S Ok, well nobody has posted ad's that is a normal user. But lately it looks like companies have made ad threads. To me, i think of it as spam. So unless it's really important, i see no point in replying to it.
5. DON'T POST ANYMORE THAN A MAX OF 2-3 THREADS A DAY Remember that threads are only meant to be made if you belive that it is really important that you have it posted. In the past week or so, iv'e seen people that have posted a max of 5 topics in one day. I see no point in that.
I'm posting all of this because lately, The Comunity Discussion Forum has had a few irritating threads or posts going around.
