Its not major, but my mouse moves by itself and theres feedback when i move it. I dont know, but its driving me crazy! help if you can!!! *Its a optical mouse* *using Windows XP*

Is turn on your firewall to disallow remote assistance? Otherwise get a mouse pad.

this has happened to me before. the problem could be that you need a better mousepad, but most likely you have a setting on called "snap to". it automatically brings the mouse to a click box. If you are using XP, just go to the control panel, select "printers and other hadwear" then select "mouse". Click on "pointer options" and you should see "snap to" if this is on, turn it off and your problem is solved!!!

If its off, or if that doesent end up working, you might need a new mouse. Im not exactly sure of your problem.

try inserting the disk that came with it and uninstall/reinstall it. that might work, but you might need to use keyboard controls durring the reinstallation.

It sounds like something is interfering with the mouse's signal. Try reconnecting it to the computer (there should be a connect button on the mouse and receiver that you can push). If that doesn't work, try getting a better mousepad...
