He means: http://sodaplay.com/constructor/beta/applet.htm?&getmodel=timmytiptoe+Dubblebine_based_on_edlinfan

And for the life of me I cannot figure out which of my turbines he based it on. :P

I have designed the race at the end of the year! It still needs some tweaking, etc, but I now can say that it's 17 parts long, and finishes on 25th of December, 12:00 noon, English time (If I am not in desparate need of an intrernet connection (like always in Spain in the holidays when there are fireworks or something else that might disrupt the power or the connection.))

We'll see.

EVer heard Of Escape Velocity? I am playing it now, but I will always visit the races, I even have a bookmark!

<# WG! R = L #>

P.S. Escape velocity is normally on a Mac, and I have 5, 2 working, 1 broken down, and 2 very old.

I am still busy with it, but now the internet was down for a long time. I couldn't use Soda or anything during that, and I'm afraid that that caused a bit of havoc in my brain. I have now sketched the whole course on paper, to keep the idea.

Still, it will take some weeks to finish it. And, i'm experimenting with some unusual tracks, and it's not an anti-grav race, but it's based on a coaster!

And it's got 17 parts, all represented by different pieces of paper in my sketch!

I'm thinking about adding a "monster" that will "destroy" a model if it's slower...

I will send more info later.

And the name is:

*Some cheesy effects happen, stickfigures fly around and that kind of thing*

The Great Cave!

*Suddenly all returns to normal*

nah. that's a -crappy- name!

I will think of a name later. For now, Let the races begin!

How about for next year, we do something a bit different?

1 Up to 20 people will enter the tournament.
2 A tournament of 10 races will then start.
3 For each race, the participants choose one of their models, and use that.
4 One may not use the same model twice in a row.
5 The points sysem:

1st: 20
2nd: 18
3rd: 15
4th: 12
5th: 10
6th: 8
7th: 6
8th: 4
9th: 2
10th: 1
11+: 0

6 There will be two tournaments:

Free For All: Every man for himself.
Teams: People pick 10 teams of two.

Example of points and tournaments:

Free For All:

1st: FAZT +20 (20)
2nd: Krusha +18 (18)
3rd: X +15 (15)
4th: Ultima +12 (12)
5th: Amoeba +10 (10)
6th: DirkJiggler +8 (8)
7th: Dainty +6 (6)
8th: Wigglyworm +4 (4)
9th: Flololo +2 (2)
10th: B +1 (1)

Teams:

1st: Krusha/FAZT +38 (38)
2nd: X/Ultima +27 (27)
3rd: Amoeba/Dainty +16 (16)
4th: DirkJiggler/B +9 (9)
5th: Wigglyworm/Flololo +6 (6)

The #'s in the ()'s make up the total scores.

7 The winners of the Free For All and the Teams compete in one last race for the Ultimate Player of the Year.

What do you think?

Very good idea! I just think that maybe the races must be stopped, because nobody is coming here anymore.

We'll see about that.
