i made this topic i the community discussion forum and it was suguested that i move it ti here. its been a while but ive been real busy so here it is...

this is a contest for the best perpetual motion machine.

RULES...

1. No muscles alloud. they must be powerd bu gravity, negitive lenght springs, or glitches.

2. iit must have some kind of regular movement., if you know what i mean.

3. it must be able to make it from one side of the screen to the other.

4. it needs to be a clasified model like a car, walker, or aomeba. not just a wobboling mass of masses and springs.

JUDGES...

1. me
2. open
3. open
4. open
5. open

SCORING...

1. smoothness (1-15)
2. creativity (1-10)
3. speed (1-10)
4. complexity (1-15)

I dont think enyone has ever made a walking model with no muscles. I have an motor powered by neg-springs but i have'nt implemented it. http://sodaplay.com/constructor/player.htm?&getmodel=lasse1234+zero

it has muscles, just look at the top. but it also has a zero wave amplitude, to the muscles really dont do anything.

that will clear the confusion.

lasse doesn't count. they may not move under their own power but there ARE muscles.

The muscles act exactly the same as springs and have no effect on its movement. Thus lasse's model are within the restrictions. You may as well move the muscle bars out of the wave, if it bothers you so much.

cactus is right. as long as the muscles have no aide in movement. its alloud. otherwise i could make one of those things and have a completely random spring with a muscle off to the side somewhere and it wouldnt count. lasse, since im the only offical judge right now, i say that it is alloud.

i re-did it a little so you might be able to use it in something.

http://sodaplay.com/constructor/player.htm?&getmodel=matthew102000+zero2

i got rid of the fixed masses and replaced them with free masses, making sure that they were streached by springs so they wouldnt move.
