Y'know, SL7, what if you put like 8 engines and make it go upwards...that would be awesome!!! XD It would be like, swoosh![crash] >.<

hehe.... you know my model, Frig? (its in my pub) well, i had a lil project that frig (and to a lesser extent, KeuesNinder) was the product from. I called it bloxagon. it was just two 'pumping' squares. so I experimented with one of these, put a lil square and some springs and i tweaked it so it ran like an engine. i then cloned this, 1/4 out-timed it and joined them both together.

and thats how I made it. smashing, isn't it?

STDP, but... sl7, you know why it flies? might have something to do with the fact its a hoover JET. it is 'air' (or more accurately, 'friction') powered, and therefore needs no surface friction to move. Lots of cool, stable flying models, like helecopters (see Parkfarm_mobs 'army' in soda wars) have been made with this.

yes, hence the name, jet- like the engines in airplanes. here is a kind of jet that i made myself:

DO NOT TAKE MY ENGINE AND CALL IT YOUR OWN!!!

but i will allow people to build engines that work exactly like mine... just don't attach my model on a car sidways...

i'd recommend building a smaller version of my motor if you want to use it.

ostra, thats a very nice, if very unstable, flyer engine.

actually sabby, i wouldn't consider it to be unstable... although yours is more stable than mine, mine doesn't vibrate as much as my old models. look:

yeah, I should of researched more before that post... I had just came here from Pointless Sites (Soda was recently added) and I wouldn't call this pointless...

I meant something like this V2 engine...something which is a perfect copy of the real-life car-engine (except for the fact that it uses "muscles" and not exploding fuel (which actually makes it enviromentally friendly =p))...And my thought was, that once we had make an almost perfect car engine, we could start making tthe rest of the car (transmission, etc.)

I don't think it's possible to make anything besides a direct-drive drivetrain without gears, and it's not possible to make gears without SCII...or mins. That's probably why this thing died.

not a perfect copy of a real life engine dude. do you see cams?, valves? how can you get muscles to move with out power before that? i mean you could use hydralics to move a car but then defeats the purpose of a cylinder...
(gasoline doesnt explode dude im sorry but you must be.. eight?)

Your link is incorrect.
http://sodaplay.com/constructor/beta/applet.htm?&getmodel=OHERIC550+Oheric_vs_FunnyBunny

The idea they had was that if you could simulate the piston using some muscles, you could build a realistic rotatory motion. The cam, I believe, is the small rotating circle below the two pistons. The valves were part of the pistons, but for reasons of simplicity and lack of use, they are not in the sodaplay one.

"(gasoline doesnt explode dude im sorry but you must be.. eight?)"
Guessing by your spelling, I'm guessing you're seven, if he's eight.

By the way, you just revived a year old topic, which is kind of bad.
