i wouldn't really call that a "power" hover jet, since it moves forward more slowly than the original with zero gravity...

BUT

i do congradulate you for being one of the very few who have actually made their own hover jet! many people have been using the original one in their own creations. although they do give credit, i still believe that they should build their own.

Note the low wave speed used to keep this in the air. I think this is a good start for a mechanism to use to keep a zero-g walker anchored to the ground. Anyway, it's a different design for a flyer that you guys might be interested in.

i like that one! i think it would be harder to impliment that a hoverjet or one of my flyers though... but it's very cool and original :)

can you make my tank walker hooverjet powered? view my models in beta to see it.

here is an (unstable) flyer... it needs very little speed to go up.

here's an even slow flyer- actually, i wouldn't call it a flyer, cause after a couple seconds it goes down twice as fast, but when the tendrils are moving down, the thing goes up. i think that this design could be improved a lot, so that it would stay in the air for like a minute or something.

sttp, but lift up the flyer and play with it to get it to stay in the air.

i think that this is worth a quadruple post...

but anyways:

INTRODUCING HOVER JET 2.0- AKA THE BLASTER!

http://sodaplay.com/constructor/player.htm?&getmodel=ostracod+blaster

-it needs only a medium wave speed to go very super fast
-it is decently stable
-it has a nice square package

WOW thats nice it fast and if you put it vertical and turn on the grav you can almost put the grav up to full!

thanks kidness! i tweaked it a few times, so now it should be more stable and it should go faster.

here's the simplest engine yet:

why hasn't someone found this yet?!

i did this out of curiosity... it turns out that this kind of worm does in fact have some propulsion. i doubt that it could be used in a model though...

i think its very simple ad esy but yet i works a a hover jet with half speed SWEET

(now i can show my friend because he deosn't know very much this could show him the basics)
