I dont have time to give feedback(I'll give feedback tomorrow), but I'll post 2 new models I have made:

http://sodaplay.com/constructor/player.htm?&getmodel=Geronimo2+Zero

Feedback please!

Some feedback:

RJRocket53: I like serendipitys odd motion, odd but good. I've made my models that work public, so you can see them.

Geronimo2: I love the windmill, very original and artistic, nice.

Here is a link to my pub in beta:

Feedback:

Markus: Is feeling_silly anything more than a grid with some fixed masses attached to it? It's interesting, but it doesn't do anything.

Muob: If you were to increase the gravity of Expander and maybe mess with the friction, it might be an interesting fountain, but right now it's sort of boring.

dexter99: Mr Tall is very original in that it relies on high-K spazzing to move, but this also makes it look unpleasantly jiggly, although it's still pretty interesting.

RJRocket: Notice how the feet on your FastBiped are slipping so much? If you turn down F and decrease the wave speed a little, it will actually run faster. (However, you may just be going for the Wile-E-Coyote slipping feet, which are pretty amusing anyway.) Simple is indeed simple (and slow) but I like its two-stage legs. I like how Serendipity moves. It's very creative and I've never seen anything like it before. It's still a pity it doesn't auto-reverse.

Geronimo2: Windmill is a great model. Although its concept is fairly simple, it is very pretty. How long have you been constructing? Zero is...well, a very good neg-spring motor. It rotates very quickly, but it is very sensitive and not very powerful, so it probably won't be useful for models. Good work!

I know I should go build a model, but I'm out of ideas. Maybe I should build some remakes...

Re: model showcase thread   posted: 23-Jun-07 19:51   »»
you need to post them in beta. from now on, ust this link...

http://sodaplay.com/constructor/beta/applet.htm?&getmodel=dexter99+wow

http://sodaplay.com/constructor/beta/applet.htm?&getmodel=dexter99+big

http://sodaplay.com/constructor/beta/applet.htm?&getmodel=dexter99+dont_ask

like i said, you need to post the beta link if you do it in beta, otherwise, it wont work. and its always a good idea to test your links after youve posted. i do that all the time, and sometimes it pays off because i made a typo in the link.

Is this what you were wanting?

http://sodaplay.com/constructor/player.htm?&getmodel=sotg+matthew_help

I connected the legs to the top spring by zip springs, and then the right side of the top spring to the left side of the leg, vice versa.

Then I placed the muscles like you'd do on a dainty walker leg.

Not sure how to do it with a linear motor though, too late for me to think well

Dexter: I like the way mr_tall uses high k to go faster forward. You're learning fast! Mr_tall is much better than Your other models.

RJ: Fastbiped is very much like fasrbiped. I like your models because they're so creative and odd, in a good way.

Geronimo: You are lasse, right? I liked your old name more. XD. I just love Windmill because it's powered by 4 inertials. It has a great look too! It's so much like a windmill! X). Zero is good too. I don't get it how you use neg-springs.

Moub: I did'nt mean to throw such a spazz at you. :( I'll just point it out next time. I would say that your models are above average.

Now my models:

yes I am lasse1234, I got tired of my old name so I have made a new account. :)

Matthew do you mean like this? http://sodaplay.com/constructor/beta/applet.htm?&getmodel=Geronimo2+concept_by_matthew102000

RJ: nice models, I like "simple", it is simple, but it walks in an interesting way. I can figure out why Serendipity walks that way.

Markus: I have given you feedback on teammage.

Thanks for the feedbakc enyway.

Serendipity was supposed to be like outofnames, but the spinning things weren't right. It walks like that on accident, so I named it Serendipity

mmaarrkkuuss:
Inder is a good, precisely built little model.
Phew has a neat walk, but it takes a long rest between strides. I'm still trying to figure out how it works.
Proto is interesting. The motor does a lot of flailing around and only produces a slow walk. However, the model is very unique and I like the legs.
Swinder looks like an expanded Inder. Am I correct? Anyway, everything true of Inder is also true of Swinder, except the structure is less rigid and more complex.

lasse1234 (Oops, I mean Geronimo):
Actually, I think he meant the thing in the middle to be an embedded wedgie, but that doesn't let them move up and down. Anyway, that's just my opinion.

EMPMarkus:
Well, it flies, but the gravity is pretty low - it doesn't look particularly efficient, either. But congratulations on building your first flier. (Also, a question: are you mmaarrkkuuss? The account names are very similar.)

to use open in construct and delete far left fixedmass move over to far right fixed mass and simulate then use the down arrow to go into construct when the rope is slack then deleat rope and simuulate to send flying

p.s. you may need to try more than once
