I would like to understand, do you make your models through trial and error or just do it once and hope for the best.

I would be very satistfied to know thank you.

When building models I usually plan everything out beforehand. If the design doesn't work, I fix the problems.

However, if I have no idea how to implement something I will usually revert to trial-and-error.

Sometimes I think of a way I want it to look, but most of the time it builds itself... I just try to implement the motor in a way that looks aesthetically acceptable to me.

I will uselly make a "baseline" model, then make better versions of that model.
the best models will sometimes go public, sometimes my worst models go public,
but it depends on the design
