There is a new version of Mins which is now a race application. You can use it as a replacement for the sodarace application, it uses the same XML protocol on port 7777 as sodarace does. I've tested Mins with the Miro and the Wodka optimizers and both work.
The advantage of Mins is that cheating is more difficult, which should lead to more interesting models. It is also a bit faster than the standard sodarace, especially if you turn the automatic timeout reduction on. The source code is available so for Java programmers it should be quite easy to use the Mins classes directly instead of using XML.
