What are you doing then?

The person you are complaning to wrote his post in june, and you respond to him in october, telling him not to post in a topic older than 2 months! That is a 4 months old thread you revealed then, just to tell him to not open a topic more than 2 months old.

Now, I read the rules now, and the rules say 2 months. I don't see a problem with writing in old threads, but ok, if that's in the forum rules, then that's how it is, so I'll follow them from now on.

Still, what is the deal with yelling at people for doing it. Just leave them alone. People are likely to do it, and on a whole lot of other forums you will be bother about reposting, if you make a new thread, instead of having found the old one and postet there instead!

Also I believe you break rules 6, 7, 9 and 11 with the way you write to people who revived old threads.

Still, I understand wanting to keep the forum spam free, and getting iritated at people who just come in, and post without looking a little around first.

Jespero, you are getting extremely irritating. It is not customary to criticise people who are just trying to keep the forums clean. At the moment, i do not think very highly of you.

1. Rule 6: Everyone who keeps the threads clean has to break this rule occasionaly, to tell them what they have done wrong. Simply, now you're just breaking it. So basically, i didn't break it that time.

2. Rule 7: I didn't break it nor you. If you make short or useless posts, don't post. You can post if: You are explaining rules, helping, have something useful and/or don't have something extremely short to say.

3. Rule 9: Understandable. BUT you only made it worse by responding.

4. Rule 11: I didn't break it, you know, so you should get your facts straight. I know people who don't break ANY rule at ANY time as of more lowly than ones that sometimes break one, because otherwise they are (annoyingly) perfect.

I will be prepared to try to manage working with you if you stop cussing people like me and keep forums clean.

Understand that I DO NOT BREAK RULES OFTEN and that if you go around cussing people because of every little mistake they make then you will become annoying, a spammer and very lowly thought of in this forum. Therefore, forget this, and move on. Understand that we break rule 6 often to remind people of different things.etc, and you will find that this is common and acceptable in this forum.

I never cussed anyone. I responded because the very first impression I get in this forum, is that you go around cussing people for writing in an old thread. 4 months after they did it!

"...if you go around cussing people because of every little mistake they make then you will become annoying, a spammer and very lowly thought of in this forum."

That is exactly the impression I imediately got of you! You even told someone that their brain was mush. So point the fingers the other way.

I lost total interest in this forum by now, so enjoy it!

Ultimate solution:

Lock old threads.

Make the system automatically lock threads older than 2 months.

It imediately stops all people from breaking that rule.
